ABOUT
Located 90 minutes from both Launceston and Hobart, in the heart of Tasmania’s east coast, the Swansea Amenities block looks out over Great Oyster Bay to the peaks of Freycinet National Park. The small seaside town of Swansea has a rich colonial history, having been the first municipality in Australia to be established after Hobart and Sydney. Positioned along the popular Great Eastern Drive, which follows Tasmania’s spectacular east coast from top to bottom, Swansea is frequented by travelers stopping to enjoy a walk, swim or fish at one of its many beaches and a drink and bite at one of the local wineries.
