BRITEX are proud to have been involved in the fit-out of the observation cells for the new Southern Remand Centre that is connected to the existing Risdon Prison Complex. Located in Hobart Tasmania, the $79 million project from the Tasmanian Department of Justice aims to upgrade and improve current holding and shared correctional facilities.

Working together with Xsquared Architects, Guymer Bailey Architects, builders Hansen Yuncken and plumbers Cooke & Dowsett, Britex provided stainless steel fixtures including our Security Combination Unit and Security Privacy Panels. Robust, durable and anti-ligature, the Britex Security Range delivers products with optimal vandal resistance for prisons, holding cells and correctional facilities.
