Bayside Council NSW Public Amenities

We recently had the opportunity to work with Bayside Council NSW on two projects in Sydney.
AS Tanner Reserve in Sydney’s southern suburb of Monterey was due for an upgrade, which included four public toilets, an accessible toilet with baby change table, an ambulant toilet, an Indoor/Community Space, external handwash and bubbler, covered area, and an operational lunch room.
The park is used for archery, soccer training and other general recreational activities, and the new building has been designed to provide a flexible space for the community and local sporting groups.
Over at Ador Ave Reserve in Sydney’s southern suburb of Rockdale, the construction of a new amenities building included six unisex public toilets including one ambulant toilet, an accessible toilet with baby change facilities, service corridor, referee’s room with shower and toilet, canteen, two change rooms with toilets and showers, a concrete hand wash trough, bubblers, and other facilities.

Britex S.S. Centurion Accessible Toilet Pan (PCD)
The Britex Centurion Accessible Toilet Pan incorporates radius edges for added safety, and is fully shrouded and manufactured from heavy gauge grade 304 satin stainless steel.
Designed to conform to Australian Standard for accessibility AS1428, this toilet pan is supplied with Black Vandal Resistant Closed Front Toilet Seat (SVRC-B) and Adjustable Backrest with Combination Rear Rail and LHS Rail with 90 Degree Extension (BTX-BRC-L90-VR).
Britex S.S. Centurion Ambulant Toilet Pan (PCAM)
Designed to conform to Australian Standard, Design for Access and Mobility - AS1428, this Ambulant Toilet Pan is manufactured from heavy gauge grade 304 satin stainless steel, providing optimal strength. It is extremely water efficient, and it is less susceptible to blockages.
It is supplied with Black Vandal Resistant Closed Front Toilet Seat (SVRC-B) and 90 Degree Ambulant Grab Rails (BTR-01-058).
Britex S.S. Centurion Child Pan supplied with Navy Child Toilet Seat (PCC)
This wall faced, floor mounted stainless steel children’s toilet pan is supplied with a standard junior seat, and features safety radius edge. Designed at a lower pan height for junior users, this toilet pan is easy to maintain and suitable for kindergarten, childcare and preschool applications.
Britex Surface Mounted Stainless Steel Baby Change Table (BTX-09-012)
The Britex Baby Change Tables possess hygienic and sturdy stainless steel exteriors, which aid in ease of cleaning and maintenance. The antibacterial HDPE interior further reduces the risk of contamination in conjunction with the use of disposable liners. An adjustable restraint belt is also available for extra safety.
Britex Deluxe Timed Flow Push Button Pillar Taps (TW-9201)
These anti-vandal timed flow (7 seconds) pillar taps complement specific stainless steel basins, troughs and sinks within the Britex range. Highly vandal resistant and water efficient, these are ideal for public spaces.
